Caymanian Dialect
Derived from the West Bay Heritage Dictionary, the Ministry launched a “Word of the Day” video series to bring awareness and preservation of the old Caymanian dialect of West Bay vernacular. The Word of the Day is chosen from the West Bay Dictionary that was compiled by the West Bay Heritage Committee. The committee was honoured at the 2024 National Heroes Day Awards under the theme "Honouring Cultural Artists and Creatives."
