Health Safety Environment (HSE)

At the Mosquito Research & Control Unit (MRCU), safety is not just a priority, it is a core value that guides everything we do. To achieve this, we are committed to ensuring that every staff member returns home in the same condition they arrived. Central to this mission is the work of our Safety and Compliance Officer, Osei Alexander, who leads the development, implementation, and enforcement of a comprehensive Health, Safety, and Environment Management System (HSE-MS).

 

This system serves as the backbone of our safety framework, preventing, mitigating, and eliminating risks caused by workplace hazards, environmental challenges, and operational disruptions. It also ensures compliance with relevant laws and standards while fostering a culture of accountability and care.

 

At MRCU, we believe that workplace safety is a shared responsibility.
