Overview

The Cabinet Office, on behalf of the Cayman Islands Government Office – UK invites applications for the post of:  Policy and Projects Executive Coordinator. 

The Cayman Islands Government Office - UK is led by the UK Representative who reports into the Cabinet Secretary.  Established in 1982, CIGO-UK is the official representation of all Cayman Islands Government activities in the United Kingdom.

This post holder will support the Cayman Islands Government UK Representative by providing administrative, planning, and project support to support the business functions and operations of the Cayman Islands Government Office – UK (CIGO-UK). The Policy and Project Executive Coordinator is critical to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the CIGO-UK Office. 

 

 

Duties and Responsibilities

The post holder will be required to:

  • Support business functions and operations in the following areas:
    • Consular Services
    • Representational Duties, International Relations and Promotions
    • Policy Advice and Ministerial Servicing
  • Provide executive services in vital areas including operational and strategic policy making and collection and analysis of information.
  • Provide support to the Representative and the CIGO-UK Office in representing and promoting the Cayman Islands Government in the United Kingdom.

Qualifications, Experience and Skills

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent is required.
  • Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in a communication, policy or administrative role.   
  • Some experience in project management preferred.

NOTE: This is not a CIG civil service post and the successful applicant will be offered a fixed term contract. The location of work for this post is London, England. Where the successful applicant relocates to the UK for the purpose of taking up this post, all relocation, transport, accommodation and other similar expenses are the responsibility of the successful applicant. Salary is paid in the UK in pound sterling (£50,470 - £65,979).
