The Ministry of Planning, Lands, Agriculture, Housing and Infrastructure advises the public that the Northwest Point Boat Ramp in West Bay will be temporarily closed from Wednesday, 16 September, through Friday, 18 September 2026. The closure is necessary to facilitate the removal of loose boulders and other material that have accumulated within the basin following storm events over the years. The boat ramp will be inaccessible throughout the three-day closure, and boat owners who normally use the facility are encouraged to make alternative arrangements. Public access to the boat ramp is expected to resume on Saturday, 19 September 2026. The Ministry and the National Roads Authority thank the public for its patience and cooperation while these important works are undertaken.

Kaibo's boat ramp and parking lot will be temporarily closed from Tuesday, 15 September, through Sunday, 20 September 2026. The closure is necessary to facilitate parking-lot restoration as part of the ongoing improvements at Kaibo Beach. Public access to the boat ramp and parking lot will resume on Monday, 21 September 2026. The Ministry and the National Roads Authority thank the public for its patience and cooperation while these important infrastructure improvements are undertaken.
