PUBLIC ADVISORY - Text Message Scam
RCIPS and CIG are urgently warning the public of text message scam which is circulating locally. The text message claims to be from the Cayman Post and states that a parcel cannot be delivered until customs duties are paid.
The public is being advised to ignore any such messages received, and NOT to click any links within.

GT – George Town Inland Clearance Depot (ocean cargo)
GP – George Town Sea Port
JP – Jackson Point Terminal (Bulk Fuel Imports) -
Cayman Brac – CB
GS –Gerard Smith’s Intl. Airport (air cargo)
CB – Cayman Brac Sea Port (ocean cargo) -
Little Cayman – LC (Intl. consignments for LC is cleared in CB or GC)
EB - Edward Bodden Airport
SR - Salt Rock Dock
