PUBLIC ADVISORY - Text Message Scam
RCIPS and CIG are urgently warning the public of text message scam which is circulating locally. The text message claims to be from the Cayman Post and states that a parcel cannot be delivered until customs duties are paid.
The public is being advised to ignore any such messages received, and NOT to click any links within.

Plants and Plant Products
Importation of live plants, fresh cut flowers, fruits and vegetables or other plant cuttings are subject to the conditions mentioned in General Information. The importation of some species of plants is prohibited. Plant and plant products from several countries and regions are also prohibited, whether importation is direct or transit through a second country. Specific conditions for the importation of plants or plant products are listed on the Plant Import Permit, which is issued within 72 hours after submitting a completed application. Application forms or additional information may be obtained from the Animal & Plant Inspection Services of the Department of Agriculture.
