Official Funeral for National Hero Francine Jackson

Premier Hon. André Ebanks presents the folded Cayman Islands National Flag to the family members of the late National Hero Honourable Francine E. Jackson on behalf of the Cayman Islands Government, in recognition of her distinguished service and enduring contribution to the nation.

On Friday, 17 July, the Official Funeral for the late National Hero Honourable Francine Jackson took place at the Wesleyan Holiness Church in West Bay, Grand Cayman. The service brought together government officials, Members of Parliament, family, friends and the public to honour Mrs Jackson's extraordinary life and decades of dedicated service to the Cayman Islands.

Representatives from the Uniformed Services form an honour guard as the bearer party ceremonially folds the Cayman Islands National Flag that had draped the casket, marking the conclusion of the Official Funeral.

Government officials, Members of Parliament and the public honoured Mrs Jackson's extraordinary life and decades of dedicated service to the Cayman Islands, notably her work as a suffragist and community advocate.
