The Cayman Islands joined international partners at the inaugural signing of the Hamilton Declaration II, reaffirming its commitment to Sargasso Sea conservation and strengthening its role in international efforts to conserve this ocean ecosystem.

The Standing Public Accounts Committee (PAC) resumed its hearings into the Office of the Auditor General (OAG)'s report, “The Government's approach to improving access to affordable housing”, with Chairman Roy McTaggart outlining the findings concerning the National Housing Development Trust (NHDT).

This year’s theme: Be Tsunami Ready: Resilience Starts With You, highlights the need for individuals to be aware of tsunami warning signs and what steps to take if those warning signs occur.
