Misinformation Alert: Phishing Email Alert, 6 March

The Cayman Islands Government (CIG) is aware of a current phishing email in circulation today Thursday, 6 March 2025.  

The email indicates that a file named '"Cayman Islands Government Administration – Proposal" has been shared and prompts the email recipient to click to open. The CIG Cyber Security Unit is currently investigating the origin of the email.  

The public is encouraged not to open or share suspicious emails or follow links that originate from unknown sources. CIG will always use its official tools and channels to communicate with its employees, vendors and other stakeholders.
