Our CIG Employee of the Year 2022, her mantra is to deliver an outstanding customer experience for everyone she comes in contact with.

Modernising Our Civil Service

The Civil Service provides a modern and innovative work environment that enhances government efficiency and public services.

Innovative Tools and Platforms

We embrace modern technology that empowers us to streamline processes and improve service delivery.

Within the Civil Service, we have one-stop, employee self-service through the my-VISTA platform to view and manage personnel data online, from leave status, pay statements and job verification letters, to dependents information, performance agreements, and time sheets.

Our customers can also access information and services in a fast, efficient, convenient and safe way online through the eGOV (Electronic Government) initiative, harnessing information and communication technologies. At present, users can access 88 different services online across 36 public

We are committed to being a progressive employer with policies dedicated to supporting work-life balance.

Civil servants benefit from:

  • flexible work arrangements;
  • a comprehensive, non-contributory health insurance scheme that for some employees with dependents represents up to 30% of the value of their salary;
  • a pension scheme which is also non-contributory;
  • a recently upgraded parental leave policy providing extended maternity and paternity leave, and death benefits for the families of staff who die while in service.
