Cabinet Approves Labour & Appeals Tribunal Appointments
The Ministry of Border Control, Labour, and Culture informs the public that on 18 February 2025, Cabinet approved the appointment of members to the Labour Tribunal, in accordance with section 74 of the Labour Act (2021 Revision), as well as to the Labour Appeals Tribunal, in accordance with Section 77 of the same Act.
The latest appointments to the Labour Tribunal consist of five (5) reappointments and five (5) new members, who will begin serving immediately through to 1 January 2027. This brings the total number of tribunal members to twenty (20).
New Labour Tribunal appointees are:
- Ms. Peta Gaye Golaub Symons – Chairperson
- Mr. Joshua Zimmer – Deputy Chairperson
- Mr. Everton Spence – Deputy Chairperson
- Ms. Janelle Milburn – Member
- Mr. Tedrick Greene – Member
Additionally, the persons who have been reappointed include:
- Mr. James Kennedy – Chairperson
- Ms. Jennodell Myles – Chairperson
- Mr. Vincent Frederick – Chairperson
- Ms. Davina Ebanks – Deputy Chairperson
- Ms. Vaccianna Franklin – Member
The recent appointments to the Labour Appeals Tribunal include seven (7) reappointments and one (1) new member, who will begin serving immediately until 1 December 2025. This brings the total number of members to eight (8).

- Mr. Ryan Charles – Deputy Chairperson
- Ms. Isidora Eden - Member

- Mrs. Janet James – Member
These tribunals play a critical role in the labour administration system, ensuring fairness and justice in labour matters within the Cayman Islands. Each Tribunal consists of a Chairperson, Deputy Chairperson and a panel of members. The Ministry extends its gratitude to all members, new and returning, for their commitment to upholding labour justice. It also thanks those who are no longer serving for their valuable contributions and dedication throughout their tenure.
