Temporary Access Restrictions at DVDL Crewe Road Location Due to NRA Roadworks

The Ministry of Planning, Lands, Agriculture, Housing and Infrastructure advises the public that, due to ongoing roadworks being undertaken by the National Roads Authority (NRA), access to the Department of Vehicle and Drivers' Licensing (DVDL) Crewe Road location has been temporarily affected.

Effective immediately until the end of day Friday, 26 June 2026, the exit from the Crewe Road compound onto Crewe Road will remain obstructed while essential road improvement works are carried out.

As a result:
• All commercial vehicles and heavy equipment vehicles requiring inspections are asked to visit the DVDL Breakers location, as these vehicle types are currently unable to safely exit the Crewe Road compound.
• Customers requiring standard licensing and registration services may continue to visit the Crewe Road office as normal.
• Traffic management measures will remain in place until the NRA completes the scheduled works.

The Department apologizes for any inconvenience these temporary access restrictions may cause and thanks the public for their patience and cooperation while these important infrastructure improvements are undertaken.
