Late James Ryan Honoured at Official Funeral

The Official Funeral for former Chief Secretary James Ryan was held on Saturday, 27 June at the Aston Rutty Civic Centre in Cayman Brac.

During the ceremony, His Excellency the Acting Governor, Franz Manderson, delivered a tribute on behalf of the Cayman Islands Government.

District Commissioner Mark Tibbetts delivered a tribute on behalf of the Cayman Brac District Administration Office.

The casket of former Chief Secretary James Ryan was draped in the Cayman Islands flag.  

Several entities including the Portfolio of the Civil Service and the Layman Scott High School sent floral arrangements in the memory of Mr James. 

Police Commissioner Kurt Walton presented the folded Cayman Islands flag to HE Acting Governor Franz Manderson during the private interment.
