Kameron D’Hue is a Caymanian scuba diving professional whose career is defined by his strong connection to the ocean and his commitment to excellence in dive education. Raised in West Bay, Grand Cayman, he developed an early familiarity with the marine environment that would later influence his professional path. Growing up surrounded by the sea, he gained confidence and comfort in the water from a young age, laying the foundation for his future in the diving industry.
He began his professional diving journey in 2019, transitioning from a lifelong ocean enthusiast into a trained diver with clear career ambitions. Driven by his passion for the underwater world, Kameron pursued formal certifications and quickly distinguished himself through dedication and skill. A major milestone in his development was being awarded the Bob Soto Memorial Scuba Scholarship, a prestigious opportunity that supported his instructor training. This achievement enabled him to advance through the ranks and ultimately qualify as a certified dive instructor.
As a dive professional, Kameron is known for his strong work ethic, attention to safety, and ability to effectively teach divers of all experience levels. In 2023, he joined Divetech, one of the island’s leading dive operations. In this role, he leads guided dives, conducts certification courses, and introduces clients to the diverse underwater ecosystems of Grand Cayman. Kameron’s contributions to the diving community have earned him recognition from the International Scuba Diving Hall of Fame, where he has been named an Emerging Honoree. He further demonstrated his involvement in the professional community by serving as Master of Ceremonies for the Hall of Fame induction ceremony in 2024.
