Governor and Premier Encourage Readiness
As hurricane season approaches, it is time to come together as a community, united in our strength and spirit. In preparation, we want to remind you of the importance of being ready. This season is predicted to be a busy one, and we must remain vigilant. No matter what the season brings, we will be prepared armed with our resilient Caymanian spirit.
Our islands are supported by significantly improved national disaster operations, ensuring that Grand Cayman, Cayman Brac and Little Cayman are well prepared now and in the future. The safety of lives and property is of utmost importance to the Cayman Islands Government.
Preparedness starts at home. Know your plan, discuss it with your loved ones and make sure everyone knows what to do before, during and after a storm. Remember, preparedness is a shared responsibility. Together, we can build a culture of readiness that will protect our families and our homes for today and tomorrow.
