Claudia Brady is the Interim Director for the Department of Commerce and Investment, within the Cayman Islands Government’s Ministry of Financial Services and Commerce.

Claudia has oversight of the department’s operations and administration. The Department of Commerce and Investment develops and implements policies and systems relating to the licensing and regulation of local businesses under its remit, namely those requiring trade and business, liquor, music and dancing, tobacco, Special Economic Zone, Local Companies Control, cinema, and secondhand dealer licenses; including those entities operating in the Designated Non-Financial Business and Professions sector.

Claudia has served Government for over 30 years, with nearly a decade at the Department of Commence and Investment. Prior to that she was in law enforcement.
