Cayman’s Golf Star Justin Hastings Returns Home

The Ministry of Tourism & Trade Development (MOTTD)  is inviting the public to show up in their numbers at the Owen Roberts International Airport to welcome home golfing star, Justin Hastings, who returns to Grand Cayman on Saturday, 21 June at 7:10PM aboard the Cayman Airways flight from Denver.

Hastings recently made history by becoming the first Caymanian to earn the title of Low Amateur at the prestigious U.S. Open, one of the world’s major golf tournaments. To honour his achievement, the public is encouraged to show their support for Justin’s historic accomplishment. Attendees are encouraged to show their Cayman pride with colours, shirts and flags.

Gary Rutty stated, "We are incredibly proud of Justin and his outstanding achievement at the U.S. Open, which reflects his dedication, talent, and the relentless effort he has invested in reaching the highest levels of his sport. His success, and the exemplary way he has represented the Cayman Islands on the international stage, brings immense honour to our country, and serves as a powerful source of inspiration for young Caymanians who dare to dream big.
