Overview
Are you ready to take your project management expertise to the next level in a mission-driven organization? The Public Service Pensions Board (PSPB) is looking for a Senior Project Officer to play a critical role in driving strategic IT and project initiatives that support the retirement security of Cayman Islands public servants.
As a public authority, PSPB administers several public sector pension plans, including the Public Service, Parliamentary, and Judicial Pension Plans — encompassing both Defined Benefit and Defined Contribution schemes.
Duties and Responsibilities
What You’ll Do:
As a key member of the Information Technology and Project Management Office, reporting to the Project Manager, you will:
•Develop and maintain full-scale project documentation, schedules, budgets, and forecasts.
•Lead cross-functional project planning and implementation aligned with strategic business goals.
•Monitor and report on project progress, mitigate risks, and troubleshoot operational issues.
•Coordinate project resources, including internal teams and external vendors/contractors.
•Facilitate project meetings and stakeholder communication to keep initiatives on track.
•Manage priorities, allocate tasks, and drive project milestones to success.
Qualifications, Experience and Skills
• Bachelor’s degree (Project Management or Business Administration preferred).
• Project Management certification is a strong asset (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2).
• 4–6 years’ experience in project management, ideally in IT-focused projects.
• Familiarity with public sector operations and pension administration is desirable.
