DCR Services

Additional Services provided / carried out by DCR include:

• Supervision of Offenders in the community, based on a Court Order or Conditional Release Board. 

• Placement and supervision of Community Service Orders as part of the Community Payback Programme. 

• Assessments for interventions and referrals throughout the supervision/monitoring periods.

• Preparation of the Level of Service/Case Management Inventory (LSCMI) assessment of individual risk and need factors.

• Case Management based on the development of Case Plans with treatment goals that target offending behaviors.

• Provision of Victim Impact Reports to the Courts and Conditional Release Board as well as advocacy and support for victims.

• Witness Accompaniment to Court and Conditional Release Board hearings.

• Provision of care and after-care services to clients who are incarcerated and subsequently released on a Conditional Release License, as well as support to their families. 

• Psycho-educational Intervention Programmes to enhance education and awareness through groups and presentations in the community and prison.
