The Council of Older Persons Invites the Public to its Annual Ageing Forum

The Council of Older Persons invites the public to its 3rd Annual Ageing Forum, held under the theme “Ageing Well, Together.” The free annual event brings together older persons, families, caregivers, professionals and the wider community for a day of meaningful discussion, practical information and resources to support ageing well in the Cayman Islands.

The Forum will take place on Saturday, 26th September 2026, from 1:00pm-7:00pm, at Hotel Indigo and is FREE and open to the public. Registration, Lunch & Networking is at 12:00pm. Now in its third year, the Annual Ageing Forum provides an important opportunity to learn more about the issues that matter as we age, whether you are an older person, approaching retirement, caring for a loved one, or simply planning for your own future.

This year’s Forum will feature Mr. Roy Bodden as Keynote Speaker, alongside presentations and discussions designed to provide attendees with useful information and practical guidance. Topics will explore areas relevant to healthy and active ageing, planning for the future, safety and protection, available resources and services, and supporting the independence, dignity and wellbeing of older persons.

Attendees will have the opportunity to hear from knowledgeable speakers, ask questions, connect with organisations and service providers, discover available resources, and leave better informed about decisions that can support themselves and their families now and in the future.
