Passport Office Summer Travel Reminder

The Passport and Corporate Services Office advises members of the public who will be travelling during the summer holidays to check the validity of their passports ahead of departure.

The Office recommends that travellers:
• Check passport expiry date to ensure validity for the dates of travel
• Check that passport is valid based on the country’s entry requirements. For example, when travelling to the United States, British Overseas Territories passport must be valid for at least six months after the date of intended departure from United States
• Apply for or renew passports before travel time, and
• Apply for any necessary visas as required for travel.
