Mrs Michele Bahadur is the Director of Stakeholder Engagement for the Ministry of Financial Services and Commerce. Prior to her new Ministry post, she was a senior manager in EY Cayman Ltd.'s international tax and transaction services office. Before her EY position, Mrs Bahadur was the Director of Financial Services in the Ministry of Financial Services and Commerce. With her experience in financial services across the public and private sectors, Mrs Bahadur has engaged with foreign governments and global regulatory bodies, including the OECD's Global Forum on Transparency and Exchange of Information for Tax Purposes; and local and global private sector groups. Mrs Bahadur has a Master of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Science (Management and Economics). She was awarded a Certificate and Badge of Honour from the Governor of the Cayman Islands for meritorious services rendered to the financial services industry.
