Bobeth O'Garro serves as the Deputy Chief Officer in the Ministry of Health, Environment and Sustainability, bringing over two decades of exemplary leadership in the public sector. Her role encompasses oversight of critical departments and the guidance of a team of policy analysts and specialists, all dedicated to advancing the Ministry's mission of promoting public health and well-being.

Mrs. O'Garro's expertise lies in the development and implementation of strategic health policies and programmes aimed at improving the quality of life for Caymanians. Her leadership approach is defined by fostering collaboration, innovation, and proactive solutions to address pressing health challenges. She is particularly passionate about promoting physical health and mental well-being, with a focus on enhancing the lives of the youth and elderly in the community.

With an academic foundation that includes a Master's in Education from the University of Bristol, a Postgraduate Diploma in International Business from the University of Liverpool, a Postgraduate Certificate in Global Executive Leadership from UCCI & FIU, and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and Sociology from UWI, Mona, Mrs. O'Garro combines her diverse educational background with her extensive professional experience to drive impactful results.

Recognised for her unwavering dedication to public service, Mrs. O'Garro has been honoured with the Certificate of Honour and multiple Queen's Jubilee Medals. Her contributions to the Ministry reflect her commitment to empowering individuals and communities to achieve healthier, more fulfilling lives through effective policies and support systems.
