NCFC’s Digital Transformation Strategy Task Force launches national survey to shape Cayman’s digital future

The NCFC’s Digital Transformation Strategy Task Force is launching a series of public surveys to help shape a national digital strategy for the Cayman Islands. Running from 5-17 May, the surveys represent the final phase of the Task Force’s stakeholder engagement and target three audiences – the business community, the public sector and the general public. The responses will directly inform the Task Force’s recommendations on digital adoption, innovation and long-term economic growth.
Why This Matters
Digital transformation is shaping how services are delivered, how businesses compete, and how people engage with technology in everyday life.
For the Cayman Islands, maintaining and strengthening its position as a globally competitive jurisdiction makes this work critical. The Task Force is focused on three key pillars:
- Digital Trust — secure and resilient foundations for the digital economy
- Intelligence & Transformation — responsible adoption of AI and emerging technologies
- Digital Assets & Economic Growth — fostering innovation and long-term economic opportunity
Survey findings will help identify national strengths, gaps, and priorities, ensuring the Task Force's final recommendations reflect the realities and ambitions of the people they serve.

Have your say
The Task Force encourages everyone across the Cayman Islands to take part. Whether you are part of government, a business, or simply a member of the community, your perspective matters and will help shape Cayman’s digital future.
“We are now at a pivotal moment in this process,” said Task Force Chair Cristina Spratt. “As we move into the final phase of our work, these surveys give us the opportunity to listen—at scale—to the voices of our country. This is how we ensure that what we deliver is not only strategic but grounded in reality.” She added that participation is essential to getting this right: “Digital transformation does not happen in isolation. It is built through shared insight, collaboration, and a clear understanding of what works, what needs to improve, and what comes next. I encourage everyone to take a few minutes to participate. Your input will directly shape the direction we take as a country.”
All responses are anonymous and reported in aggregate form.
