DEH Clarifies False Messaging on Bulk Waste Collection

The Department of Environmental Health (DEH) is aware of information circulating on social media claiming that the upcoming Bulk Waste Collection exercise is scheduled for December. This information is false.

The DEH reminds the public that the Bulk Waste Collection takes place once a year in May, ahead of the hurricane season. 

Residents are urged to rely only on official DEH communications channels for accurate and up-date information. All official announcements, including the schedule for the annual Bulk Waste Collection, are shared on the DEH Website, as well as our verified Facebook and Instagram pages.

Please avoid sharing unverified information and to check our official platforms regularly for updates.
