Cabinet Approves Referendum With 2025 General Elections

GRAND CAYMAN, Cayman Islands (26 September, 2024) The Ministry of Tourism and Ports has today announced that Cabinet has granted approval for the referendum on cruise berthing to be held concurrently with the General Elections in 2025.

In addition to this critical infrastructure issue, Cabinet has also granted its approval for the referendum to include two additional questions which have been subjects of ongoing national debate.

The Ministry of Tourism advises that it will hold a press conference next Wednesday 2nd October at 11:00am to provide the public with further details and announcements.
