The Cayman Islands Government took early and decisive steps to protect our country from imported COVID-19 cases, and we continue to actively suppress the virus through swift enforcement of health and safety regulations, effective social distancing measures, the roll-out of robust testing, and many other initiatives with the private sector and non-profit community.
At the heart of this campaign is the mission of keeping the people of the Cayman Islands safe through accurate, timely and transparent communications.

From the announcement of the Tropical Storm Warning until after the All-Clear was issued, the Joint Communications Service (JCS) team supported the National Weather Services (NWS), Hazard Management Cayman Islands (HMCI) and the National Hazard Management Council (NHMC) to provide the people of the Cayman Islands with authoritative news and information about Hurricane Delta.
