National Energy Policy


What We Do

The National Energy Policy (NEP) aims to help the Cayman Islands community embrace a sustainable lifestyle through responsible, affordable, and innovative energy supply and consumption.

Through a variety of programmes, projects and initiatives, the NEP focuses on increasing renewable energy, promoting energy efficiency and conservation measures, and supporting energy security.

The NEP is a policy area under the Ministry of Health, Environment and Sustainability
